The first edition of the Cactus Festival gets the imprimatur of the Green Group Councilor of the Emilia Romagna Region, Daniela Guerra, and considerable communication support from the newspaper La Repubblica and the radio station Punto Radio.
Established to support the project of building an environmental center, Verdivisions immediately gained wide support among both passionate cactus and succulent plant growers, environmentalists and ordinary citizens who appreciate nature and the environment.
It is attended by only two nurserymen, Matthias Uhlig and Antonio Borghi, who remain satisfied thanks to the very notable participation of the public, who also flock to attend the lecture given by Prof. Giorgio Celli on bee behavior.
