At the 2026 Festa del Cactus, there will also be activities for younger visitors. The AIPC and AIAS associations will offer a workshop for children and teens, designed to introduce them to plant cultivation in a simple and hands-on way.

With small, non-prickly succulents, carnivorous plants, pots, and potting soil, participants will be able to observe, touch, repot, and experience firsthand some of the basic techniques of plant cultivation.

A practical, informal activity aimed primarily at young people, designed to show that caring for a plant can be a curious, enjoyable, and surprisingly engaging experience.

The workshop will be led by volunteers from AIPC—the Italian Association of Carnivorous Plants —and AIAS, who will be present at the festival in the Social Cactus area.
