We are pleased to host Acquaponic Design, an innovative startup and spin-off from the University of Bologna (UniBo), which brings to the fair its sustainable and high-tech vision in the field of above-ground cultivation.
This young company, which specializes in the design, implementation, and management of aquaponics cultivation systems, combines aquaculture and plant cultivation in fully automated and designer vertical systems. The result? Sustainable, modern solutions that are also ideal for urban spaces.
During Festa del Cactus, Acquaponic Design will set up practical examples of its vertical systems, designed to show in an intuitive and fascinating way how growing succulent plants above ground can be efficient, elegant, and strictly organic.
In addition, some team members will present the most innovative products: automated “totem” systems for indoor growing, equipped with LED lighting specifically for indoor tropical plants including Rhipsalis e Hoya. These systems are perfectly adapted to the rhythms and needs of succulent plants in hot-humid environments, providing ideal conditions for healthy and harmonious growth.
