Cactus Life

Having been raised in my father’s nursery among cacti, animals, and flower shows, once I finished my studies and tried my hand at various other jobs, in September 2024, I purchased a plot of land with a small vineyard and 250 olive trees and launched the Cactus Life farm, with the goal of creating a nursery specializing in cacti and succulents. It is located in the Chianti hills, in the town of Barberino Tavarnelle, where I grew up.

Starting next summer, I’d like to host “Aperitifs at the Nursery” featuring our own wine and live music.

This year, I won the “Youth in Agriculture” grant, which will allow me to better carry out all the projects I have in mind.

I can say—though it hasn’t been easy—that I’ve found my path, which I look back on with a smile and many ideas for the future.
