Professional gardener and passionate ‘historian’ of succulents, in recent years Salvatore (aka Toti) has come to intensive cultivation of hoyas, developing excellent techniques to multiply the rarest species.
A brilliant writer and popularizer, he took part in the establishment of the Italian Hoya Association, of which he is vice-president and in whose capacities he has attended numerous plant events, including ‘our’ Festa del Cactus in Bologna and Kaktos in Rome.
In 2021 he finally decided to take the ‘big step’ by starting the company Yaya Hoya, with which he is participating in our event.
