Piazzera Flower Shop

Floricoltura Piazzera was founded in 1988 based on an idea by Raffaele Piazzera, who, recognizing his children’s aptitude for gardening and their love of flowers, proposed building a greenhouse.

At first, it was a small garden where geraniums and vegetable seedlings were grown in the spring, and cyclamens and chrysanthemums in the fall—and where Stefano, armed with plenty of patience and a strong work ethic, devoted himself to his first small Phalaenopsis orchid seedlings.

In 1998, Stefano became the owner and expanded the cultivation area by building additional greenhouses, focusing on new technologies and energy efficiency. Now, finally, part of the farm is ready to grow his favorite flowers.

With the feminine touch of his wife Evelina and new female colleagues, special attention is given to retail sales, decorations, and packaging.

At the same time, the selection and variety of flowers and plants—both for gardens and outdoor use—are expanding.

The flower shop is now also run by her daughter Chiara, who has brought a breath of fresh air and new ideas.
