Twenty Years on the Move
Since 2006, Festa del Cactus has evolved many times without losing its identity. It began as a gathering of enthusiasts, grew alongside its exhibitors, travelled across Italy and finally found a new home. This archive traces its evolution through a selection of images.
Una festa costruita intorno alle piante e alle persone che le coltivano. Nei primi anni prende forma una comunità, arrivano nuovi vivaisti e collezionisti e quello che era nato come incontro specialistico comincia a diventare un appuntamento riconoscibile. A un certo punto la Festa esce dai propri confini. L’esperienza costruita negli anni diventa un format capace di incontrare altre città e altre comunità. Con Kaktos comincia una fase nuova: Torino, Este, Roma e la Sardegna diventano tappe diverse della stessa storia. Il 2024 chiude una lunga fase della storia della Festa. L’edizione successiva porterà un nuovo luogo, nuovi spazi e una diversa dimensione dell’evento. Nel 2025 la Festa arriva a Grand Tour Italia. Il cambio di sede coincide con un salto di scala: più spazio, più espositori, migliaia di visitatori e l’ingresso di Tropical Vibes. Dopo vent’anni la Festa entra nella sua maggiore età.NASCERE
