The sixth edition of Festa del Cactus is the affirmation of the Saturday night ‘Festazza,’ experienced with great joy and serenity by a small group of afecionados who choose to stay overnight in Bologna.
Another novelty is the establishment of the ‘Most Bizarre Plant’ contest, which puts up for grabs a postmodern sculpture, ‘El Cacto,’ which is also reproduced in giant scale in the FERROCACTUS, a saguaro-shaped metal structure that becomes the ’emblem of the event. The giant sculpture rimae on permanent display at the Garden That Is Not There.
