Form is born from an encounter
A cactus pot is more than just a container: its proportions, depth, stability, drainage and material can all be designed with the plant in mind. Alongside this functional approach, the cactus becomes a symbol, a texture and a story through ceramics, textiles, jewellery and handcrafted objects.
Shape it
Clay, fabric, fibres, metal and yarn take shape through the hands, tools and techniques of the artisan. Each material retains the touch and identity of the person who works with it.
Design it
Shape, volume, weight and drainage make the pot an integral part of cultivation design. Some objects are created specifically around the needs and proportions of plants.
Reinvent It
Spines, geometries and plant forms leave the pot and become jewellery, textiles and small objects. The real cactus is transformed into a symbol, a decoration and a story.

At the Festa del Cactus, creative craftsmanship grows out of the encounter between skills, materials and botanical culture. Here you’ll find potters, designers and artisans who create objects for plants or reinterpret their forms and imagery through their work.
