The passion of making something with one’s hands began many years ago with a cardboard making class done by accident…. continued with architectural modeling done with my brother, and blossomed into the making of crocheted minicactus.
Grandma had taught me, I love real succulents, I have about 20 of them, I keep them in small pots because I like them small, making minicactus relaxes me.
I make only succulents by choice. I try to vary the crafts made each year, this year I propose small picture frames. Keeping handwork and grandmothers’ teachings, with an eye to creative recycling, I use strictly used corks as mini-frames, without forgetting the contact with people, makes me feel good.
And it helps me mentally get out of my job that I need to make a living; I am employed in a multinational company.
