Flornova

Flornova was founded in the late 1960s on the outskirts of Bologna, and for over fifty years it has been growing and selling ornamental plants, serving generations of gardening enthusiasts.

Today, alongside the garden center’s long-standing business, a new venture is taking shape, driven by Daniele Grillini’s passion for tropical plants and his search for increasingly unconventional species and varieties.

A passion that gradually evolved from cultivation to experimentation, culminating in his early work on Anthurium hybridization, alongside the cultivation of other Araceae and tropical plants of particular botanical interest.

At the Festa del Cactus, Flornova thus naturally becomes part of the Tropical Vibes universe, bringing with it the expertise gained from a long tradition in plant cultivation and, above all, a curiosity to explore new plants.
