Lhe company was founded in 2007 and at first dealt exclusively with garden design and construction in the province of Bologna under the name TIS PROJECTS.

Owner Davide Contis’ passion for plants in general pushes mainly toward succulents, especially the genera Opuntia, Agave, and Yucca, which he experiments with in his own garden and tests their resistance to cold and humidity in the Po Valley.

After his successes, he began to create much of the garden with many species that he reproduces, also making this passion available to his clients for the creation of beds and gardens of cold-hardy succulents in the ground and without cover.

For years he has been breeding mainly from seed many species of cacti and succulents in his first greenhouse. In 2012 he built a large greenhouse on a plot of land purchased near his home and decided to devote himself professionally to the production and sale of cacti and succulents under the name CACTIS.

On the land adjacent to the greenhouse, there are plans to create a large garden consisting exclusively of cold-hardy succulent plants that will allow customers to see for themselves how many beautiful species can be used to create gardens in cold and wet climates.
